Chalet 'Le Dolent'

It is open all year round but there are certain moments during the year when it is rented out on a self catering basis to groups for their own exclusive use. Our chalet is marked as "closed" or "full" on the website for these periods.

Located outside the village at the edge of the forest, this chalet offers peace and tranquility.

It shares its name with the magnificent mountain towering over it: le mont Dolent (3823m tall), which acts as a vigilant sentinel over the three borders between Switzerland, France and Italy.

In Winter, the chalet offers the benefit of being directly accessible from the ski slopes.
Downhill skiing, cross country skiing (15km trail), toboggan run with lighting, snowshoe trails and ice climbing
In Summer, it is the starting point for many hiking and mountaineering trips to discover the fauna and flora. At this time of year our guests are delighted by the barbecues, swings and play areas surrounding the chalet and located in the forest. It is also possible to enjoy activities such as climbing, mountain biking, tennis, a climbing wall, aerial walkway, football and table tennis along with many other outdoor activities.
The chalet also has cable TV with 115 TV channels and 50 radio stations along with high speed WIFI internet

Access

Chalet "Le Dolent" is located 300 metres from the centre of "La Fouly," in le Val Ferret (Valais, Switzerland).

It is located by the main road linking La Fouly to the hamlet of Ferret.
